Amruta Institute of Engineering LIBRARY
The Amruta Institute of Engineering and
Management Sciences college has a large collection of books relating to various
branches of Engineering, Management, and General books. There is also a
facility for Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences students
and Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences staff to go through
previous question papers made available in the Library whenever required. At
present there are 2777 titles, 11198 volumes, 72 journals and many reference
books are prescribed as per the VTU scheme and syllabus. The Amruta Institute
of Engineering and Management Sciences Library is fully computerized using the
EASYLIB software’s in all the books, Journals and Identity cards have been
bar-coded.
Amruta Institute of Engineering HOSTEL
The Amruta Institute of Engineering and
Management Sciences hostel facility includes, fully equipped Hostel blocks with
separate hostels for boys and Girls. Both the Amruta Institute of Engineering
and Management Sciences hostels are in a lush green surrounding, with a
wonderful view from all the rooms. Amruta Institute of Engineering and
Management Sciences Hostels for both
girls and boys are situated within the Amruta Institute of Engineering and
Management Sciences campus. The Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management
Sciences Girls Hostel would have an accommodation for about 93 students in this
phase with facilities for a common study/library area, a TV room, Internet room
and an indoor play area. A caretaker’s
room also is accommodated at each floor. The Amruta Institute of Engineering
and Management Sciences Boys Hostel would have similar facilities like the
girls Hostel and would accommodate around 110 students in this phase. Each of
the students would have a combined Bed- Study unit designed on the lines of
those found in a few foreign institutions consisting of a Study table, a
Wardrobe, a Book rack and a single Bed with individual lighting and Electrical
socket points with Computer points. Each Room will have 3member/5 member
accommodation. With all these facilities it is proposed to inculcate the value
of ‘SAHAJEEVANA’ among students.
It is mandatory to adhere to the
instructions of Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences hostels
Chief Warden. Violation of the same may
lead to termination from Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management
Sciences hostels. All the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management
Sciences hostel students should attend
classes as well as practical regularly except in case of illness. Absence from
classes without prior permission may lead to cancellation of admission from
hostel. It is collective as well as individual responsibility of the students
to keep the hostel premises clean and tidy. No student shall interchange the
allotted room/furniture/fixture etc. No additional electrical fitting or usage
of other electrical/electronic appliances without Chief warden’s permission is
allowed in the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences hostel. The
Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences students shall practice
self-housekeeping to maintain their rooms neat and clean, Breach of rules &
regulations may lead to termination from Amruta Institute of Engineering and
Management Sciences hostel and the decision of Chief Warden will be the final
in this regard. All authorities of hostel management vest with the Chief
Wardens of the Hostels & and Principals of the Amruta Institute of
Engineering and Management Sciences Colleges. Any attempt of inflicting,
ragging in the hostel shall be viewed serious .Guilty is imposed with severe
punishment including expulsion from the hostel/college. Any loss
or damage of the hostel property shall be recovered from the student(s),
individually or collectively, If the character & conduct of a student is
found unsatisfactory, the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management
Sciences college management reserves rights to get the accommodation vacated
any time. Non-compliance of any of the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management
Sciences hostel rules and regulation shall be treated as misconduct and
appropriate action shall be initiated against the Amruta Institute of
Engineering and Management Sciences student.
Amruta Institute of Engineering CAMPUS
Amruta Institute of Engineering and
Management Sciences canteen serving delicious hot food open from 7.00 am to
9.00 pm, is available for the benefit of students to indulge in throughout the
semester. An additional food court to cater to multiple tastes is also
available within the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences
campus for the convenience of students coming from different parts of India.
The menu in the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences canteen
includes, delicious breakfast including Idlis, Dosas, Puris, Parathas,
Uttappams for a lip smacking experience. Lunch is a nutritious mix of unlimited
full meals for the ever growing appetite of our young students. As the Amruta
Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences canteen is managed by the
college, food is subsidized to suit all pockets and is quite reasonable.
Evening tea snacks and dinner for hostilities completes the canteen activity
for the day, with a night cap consisting of hot milk for the hostilities. The
spacious canteen is hygienically maintained to ensure healthy, safe and
affordable food for all students. Amruta Institute of Engineering and
Management Sciences buses running in eight different routes are available. There
are pick up and drop points as per convenience of passengers coming from
various suburbs including places like Ramanagar, JP Nagar, Kanakapura,
Jalahalli, Sunkadakatte, Banashankari, Vijayanagar, Kengeri, Rajarajeshwari
nagar, etc. Charges are dependent on the distances and based on various stops. From
Bidadi cross, regular shuttle service is also available to match college
timings. Buses come from various routes and from as far a distance as 50 KMs,
from the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management college. A good tar
road right up to the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management college,
facilitates smooth movement, even in the chaotic traffic of Bangalore. The same
buses pick up Faculty en-route to college, ensuring comfort and discipline
along the way.
