ABOUT KS Institute of Technology

The Kammavari Sangham, a multi-activity non-profit oriented voluntary service organization, was established in the year 1952 with the sole objective of providing charitable service to community and society. The Sangham has diversified its activities since its establishment over five decades ago. With a firm belief that quality and meaningful education only can lay the strong foundation for bringing about economic and social changes to the lives of thousand, the Sangham went about establishing educational institutions, starting with KS . Polytechnic in 1992. Enthused with this success of its foray into technical education, the Sangham moved forward by starting the KS Institute of Technology (KS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ). Its Engineering College in the year 1999. In the following years both these institutions have carved for themselves an enviable niche through academic excellence achieved in a very short span of time. By providing FREE hostel accommodation and scholarship to the deserving students in the community, it has furthered its Commitment to education. Apart from the educational initiatives, on the cultural front, the Sangham has ventured to build and manage Convention centers. These serve as venues for community cultural events including conducting of mass marriages among the economically underprivileged in the Kamma Community. Towards encouraging and nourishing entrepreneurial trait among the community members, the Sangham also started Kammavari Credit Co-operative Society to mobilize deposits and finance enterprises. Furthermore, to be of service to the sick and the suffering, the Sangham has established a modern hospital in Bangalore with the latest diagnostic and treatment services.

KS Institute of Technology, KS Institute of Technology in short, was born on 11th October 1999, out of a commitment to the cause of providing value based technical education. KS Institute of Technology strength lies in its founding objectives, the eminence of its management who are experienced men drawn from various fields, the coming together of dedicated, experienced and well qualified teaching staff, the establishment of a modern infrastructure with state-of-art equipment and laboratory facilities and the interactive relationship KS Institute of Technology forged with the industry. Excellent academic performance in the University examinations in all the years so far gives us the impetus to embark upon post graduate programmes and the establishment of a research cell in the near future. Establishment of these institutions will be a quick reality with hundreds of the Sangham members contributing generously.Set on the mission to excel in every activity that the Sangham has embarked upon, KS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY  carries forward the Sanghams vision under an eminent Governing Council, and an inspiring academic leadership translated in the enviable academic performance of KS Institute of Technology students.

The objective of the management committee of KS Institute of Technology is to impart quality education and to help students develop the abilities of problem solving, creative thinking and adaptability in their chosen field. Realizing the importance of technical education, the energetic, dedicated and visionary members of the Kammavari Sangham under the leadership of our President Sri. K. SUBRAMANYAM NAIDU, are executing their responsibilities sincerely for the growth of the KS Institute of Technology since its establishment.

KS Institute of Technology, in addition to high tech infrastructure and facilities, KS Institute of Technology has separate hostels for boys and girls well within the city limit & near the campus. To help the students coming from different parts of the city, KS Institute of Technology has put in place its own fleet of high tech buses. The KS Institute of Technology library is well stocked with standard text booKS, national & international journals, with the facility of online accessing. For overall development of the KS Institute of Technology students we have programmes like Parents, teachers meet, alumni meet, mentor system and special coaching for week students. To enhance their curricular base and organizing skills we have different student Forums like MECHENAS, FETE, ACE, white noise, ISTE & IEEE chapters. To balance the requirements of the gruelling curriculum KS Institute of Technology is always encouraging the student fraternity to participate in both sports and extracurricular activities. Every year KS Institute of Technology students organize an inter college cultural festival called 'ANANYA'as around 40 colleges will participate in this yearly event. The KS Institute of Technology has tie up with MNCs, Research organizations, Industries etc to provide projects implementations and placement to KS Institute of Technology students. We conduct regular seminars, symposiums, worKShops, Technical & personality development programmes, to help the student to become acquainted with the emerging fields of science and technology. This apart the KS Institute of Technology students are also trained by corporate professionals to gain proficiency in the field required to cater the needs of the industry.

The library at KS Institute of Technology occupies over 500 square meters and provide Users with Access to a vast repository of resources including BooKS and Periodicals. The peaceful sunlight provides ideal study space. Completely automated KS Institute of Technology Library Management System makes Users possible to borrow BooKS at any time of the KS Institute of Technology college hours. Multiple copies ensure that resources are easily available for reference in the KS Institute of Technology Library. Trained Staff is always at hand to assist Students.  OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) Allows users to search all materials (such as BooKS, Journals, Magazines, Digital material etc.) available in the KS Institute of Technology library collection. Only KS Institute of Technology Library Members can access Full text and Digital material by using their User ID and Password.
