Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology CAMPUS

The Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management shall provide state of the art digital classrooms with smart boards, which can be used for effective e-learning. It provides an opportunity for faculty to prepare some of the interactive lessons and execute the same in a much more efficient manner. The total seating capacity of these two digital classrooms is 120. These classrooms are well augmented and utilized for ISRO’s dream project of providing distance-learning education via satellite “EDUSAT”, for which the institute is a life member.  The Internet accessing facility with 40 systems to start with Broad Band connections will be provided for students to access the MIS, Web browsing and e-library. This facility will be open to students from 9.00 and to 9.00 pm. Networking Backbone / Wireless is carried out through laying of Fiber Optic cable around the campus touching all the labs in respective departments.  All systems can communicate with the main server located centrally at Computer server room (for accessing Student Information Service, SIS) with end-To-end security being maintained through firewalls.  Any system with permission can access World Wide Web. All systems shall be upgraded to the minimum requirement for accessibility of LAN for SIS and Internet. Option for wireless networking at any end point can be made, if necessary in future. Internal communication of the systems is maintained and VOIP is implemented through this network. Available with sufficient number of computers as per AICTE. Norms. Broad band connections of BSNL is also provided for internet facilities. A fully equipped and functional instrumentation facility is proposed to be in place for all the programes for which approval is sought very shortly.

Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology LIBRARY

The Staff and students of the Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management will be provided with best Digital Library facility to cater an effective collection in transactions as well as technical journals. The Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management  students will have the benefit of accessing of Del-net, “J-Gate” and other web based library accessing. Library will be functioning form 9.00 am to midnight.

Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology HOSTEL

The Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management hostel is located inside the campus surrounded with lavish garden, extracurricular facilities such as gym, Basket ball court, Tennis court, Foot ball ground, Volley ball court soon & so forth. The students are housed in an International Hostel which is of a super premium class. The inmates have been provided with luxurious comforts in their typical rooms settings. Arrangements have been made to separately house girls and boys. A well- organized boarding programme is available to students to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. Charges towards housing and meals can be obtained separately from the Hall of Admissions, Administrative Office, depending of individual preferences.
