Kryptonite - 2011 signifies the multifarious activities which included events
like Quiz, Mehandi, JAM, group dance, solo dance, etc. The events brought about
vibrant colours along with igneous work of art which brought about creativity
of Vemana Institute of Technology students. Aalap - Music group brought laurels
to Vemana Institute of Technology numerous times by participating in Inter
collegiate activities, and bagging numerous prizes. Vemana Institute of
Technology proved itself by culminating the events of Kryptonite on April 29th
where a cultural was held. To retain social values & cultural heritage a
value based with movement "National Service Scheme" was started. Vemana
Institute of Technology becomes a receptor between Vemana Institute of
Technology campus and community along with providing an opportunity for
students through community service. Vemana Institute of Technology organizes educational tours
all across India. This also consists of various industry visits pertaining to
their educational streams. Educational Tours will expose the students to
understand the socio economic and educational aspects of India, the

Vemana Institute of Technology LIBRARY
The Vemana Institute of Technology Libraries are the gateway
to access thousands of printed & electronic resources for the users. Vemana
Institute of Technology library has a collection of 20,000 volumes with 5300
titles covering various engineering subjects. Vemana Institute of Technology Library
has 60 International and 40 National Journals, 15 Technical magazines and 11
Newspapers along with 6 years back volumes of the periodicals to update the
knowledge. Beside Vemana Institute of Technology Library has good collection of
CD's and OPAC facility is provided for users to locate the documents. Also
Internet facility is provided with 18 branded systems. E-Journals subscription
and Inter Vemana Institute of Technology Library Loan facility is being provide
for users benefit. Vemana Institute of Technology Library functions are
computerized with bar coding of books & ID cards.
Vemana Institute of Technology HOSTELS
Vemana Institute of Technology houses Individual hostels for boys and girls
serving homely, hygienic food and beverages are available for outstation
students. Each Vemana Institute of Technology hostel has an independent
library. Vemana Institute of Technology Girls' hostel is situated in the Vemana
Institute of Technology college campus and Vemana Institute of Technology boys'
hostel in a prime locality in the city. Adequate security measures are in place
