meet the national and international requirements. We also provide necessary
steps to train the students for placement and continue to improve our methods
of education to the students through effective quality management system,
quality policy and quality objectives.
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology CAMPUS
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology
has well established state-of-the-art Computer Centres housing over 750
computer systems, connected over LAN. Internet connectivity of 10 Mbps leased
line round the clock is available. Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology
is a Wifi Enabled campus. Dedicated lab for internet browsing with high end
computers are available round the clock for the benefit of students. Channabasaveshwara
Institute of Technology has a Campus Agreement with Microsoft Inc. for all the
genuine Microsoft products being used for Academic & Research purposes.The Channabasaveshwara
Institute of Technology classrooms are spread across 3 buildings. Each
classroom is well lit and can accommodate more than 80 students. The seating
arrangement is such that the Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology students
can get an unhindered view of the faculty and teaching aids from all sides. Channabasaveshwara
Institute of Technology has brought technology into most of the classrooms for
effective presentation of course material. Many of the classrooms are equipped
with ceiling mounted LCD projector. Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology houses
well furnished auditorium which can accommodate more than 500 students is
centrally located on the Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology campus. The
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology auditorium is routinely used for
guest lectures, technical seminars, pre-placement training and extra-curricular
activities.
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology cafeteria
hygienically maintained caters to the needs of the Channabasaveshwara Institute
of Technology staff and Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology students. Channabasaveshwara
Institute of Technology cafe serves nutritional and balanced food throughout
the day. Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology cafe is a place for the

Institute of Technology staff and students Consumers Co-Operative Society was
established in the year 2003 in the Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology campus
to cater to the needs of both Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology students
and Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology staff. The Consumers
Co-operative Society store stationeries, educational aids and also provides
Xerox/copier facility for the benefit of Channabasaveshwara Institute of
Technology students and staff.
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology
provides banking facilities are extended from Karnataka Bank Ltd. and State
Bank of Mysore to all t Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology students and
staff. The State Bank of Mysore operates an ATM machine on-campus for the
benefit of Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology student and staff.
First-aid treatment is readily available in Channabasaveshwara Institute of
Technology campus and in all laboratories. Doctors are on-call to attend to any
emergencies on an as needed basis. The Channabasaveshwara Institute of
Technology has identified many hospitals for the benefit of Channabasaveshwara
Institute of Technology staff and students for their periodic health check-ups.

Learning Resource Centre is available to the Channabasaveshwara Institute of
Technology staff & Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology students,
consisting of a large collection of books pertaining to Engineering, Management
& Applied Sciences. The Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology library has collection is continuously updated
to cater the growing needs of faculty and students. Various technical journals
are subscribed for the benefit of the students & faculty. Online access to
e-resources has been set-up via IP enabling. The reading section of the Channabasaveshwara
Institute of Technology library, with subscription to many periodicals, is kept
open for Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology staff and Channabasaveshwara
Institute of Technology students even after normal working hours.
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology HOSTEL
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology runs
separate hostels for boys & girls. The Channabasaveshwara Institute of
Technology boys-hostel is located in Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology
campus while the girls-hostel is located outside Channabasaveshwara Institute
of Technology campus. The Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology hostels
are managed by a warden assisted by a deputy warden residing within the hostel
premises. All the Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology hostel rooms are
well furnished and healthy food is served. The Channabasaveshwara Institute of
Technology students are strictly expected to abide by the rules and regulations
of the Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology hostels. Ragging in any form
is strictly prohibited. Any deviation from the rules and regulations will
result in disciplinary action which may include expulsion from the institute.
