ABOUT Basava Academy of Engineering

Basava Academy of Engineering was established in the year 2002 under the flagship of Sri Belimatha Maha Samsthana Socio Cultural and Education Trust. The Belimatha Trust was established in 1975 by Sree Sree Charamurthy Shivarudra Mahaswamiji. Basava academy of engineering Bangalore is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by AICTE New Delhi. Basava Academy of Engineering Affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technology University (VTU).  The Basava Academy of Engineering  provides a number of modern facilities within Basava Academy of Engineering sprawling campus. The Basava Academy of Engineering is located on a sprawling area of 10 acres of land has 60 experienced and all well qualified teaching faculty and 15 supporting staff . The Basava Academy of Engineering library has a collection of 10000 volumes. The Basava Academy of Engineering provides Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Laboratory, Seminar Hall and recreation. The Basava Academy of Engineering has all fully equipped laboratories, well-stacked library, workshops and spacious furnished classrooms. The Basava Academy of Engineering buildings are architecturally designed meeting functional needs of classrooms, Computer and Electronics Laboratory Library and workshops.

Basava Academy of Engineering Library

The Basava Academy of Engineering Library more than 10000 volumes of text and reference books. The Basava Academy of Engineering  library subscribes to 15 international and 24 national technical journals. The reading room of the library accommodates about 125 readers. The Basava Academy of Engineering  library is being automated and expanded.

Basava Academy of Engineering HOSTEL

Basava Academy of Engineering boys hostel with a capacity for 120 student is running in the Basava Academy of Engineering campus and a Girls hostel of the same capacity is nearing completion.  At present a Girl hostel is operating in leased houses close to the Basava Academy of Engineering Campus.  A huge playground located right in front of hostel for students. Strict discipline is maintained and monitored by senior faculty member. All round-clock medical facility is made available to the inmates.
