East Point College of Engineering for Women aim to accomplish our goal by practising collective learning, sustainable living and by encouraging a people-friendly environment. East Point College of Engineering for Women pledge to live by our philosophy in everything we do. For a better mankind. For a better world. The journey of East Point College of Engineering for Women began with East Point School at Kalyan Nagar in Bangalore, which was founded in the year 1998 by MG Charitable Trust. In the year 1999, East Point Group of Institutions was formally established with the addition of East Point College of Engineering for Women, Bangalore. Under the leadership of Sri S. M. Venkatpathi, a successful entrepreneur and a passionate philanthropist, East Point College of Engineering for Women has gone from strength to strength to become one of the preferred colleges in Bangalore. Presently, there are eight institutions under East Point Group of Institutions, offering education to a total of over 6000 students. Now, after over 13 successful years, East Point continues to deliver what we call 'Education with a heart'. East Point Group of Institutions is located in Bangalore, one of the most comfortable cities in India to reside in. There are many factors that give Bangalore the edge over other cities.

East Point College of Engineering for Women campusIn order to best suit our philosophy, we set up East Point College of Engineering for Women ‘Jnana Prabha’ campus away from the bustle of the city. Spread over 90 acres of fertile land, the East Point College of Engineering for Women ‘Jnana Prabha’ campus is set in a tranquil space surrounded by greenery. The calm and quiet atmosphere at East Point College of Engineering for Women liberates the mind from the pressures of the world. The clean and fresh air invigorates the body and encourages to do more. In this competitive and stressful world, it is essential for students to strike a healthy balance between work and play. With the cities being cramped up with massive apartments and business centres, playgrounds are a rare sight. The huge playground at East Point is a relief for those who love to run, stretch and play.  Clean air, magnificent playground, plenty of open spaces and lush greenery make East Point College of Engineering for Women the ideal place to learn and still be in touch with nature. Communities At East Point, we facilitate people to do what they like doing by bringing together those of similar interests and encouraging them to interact. This is achieved through our concept of 'communities'. East Point College of Engineering for Women Communities is a collection of forums created by people associated with East Point College of Engineering for Women. Each community deals with a specific interest or subject. For instance, the music community comprises members passionate about music. Everyone associated with East Point College of Engineering for Women, including the staff, is a part of one or more of these communities. In a community, its members can learn, teach, discuss, organize events and do what not to nurture their passion and hone their skills. This system is not restrictive as the interests and the scope of a community are not prescribed by the management but formed by its prospective members. People are encouraged to form their own communities and invite people to be a part of them. With East Point Communities, students don't have to give up their interests owing to the constraints of education. Communities also encourage East Point College of Engineering for Women staff and the students to interact more at a personal level which is essential for effective learning.  Accommodation East Point College of Engineering for Women provides boarding for both boys and girls in separate hostels. The East Point College of Engineering for Women hostels are equipped with generators, water heaters, water coolers, recreation centres and cooperative stores. The internet and communication centre at the hostels provides round the clock access to the internet.  Hygienic food is a fundamental aspect of humanity. Which is why, East Point College of Engineering for Women kitchens and dining halls are adequately manned, to keep them clean. The kitchen is equipped with modern steam operated devices to ensure maximum hygiene. We also have appointed a doctor who is available on call at all times to address our students' health issues.
