New Horizon College of Engineering CAMPUS
The New Horizon College of Engineering is
located at the vicinity of the corporate region of the city which provides an
ambience of professionalism and elegance. The New Horizon College of
Engineering with its imposing building
and state-of-the-art infrastructure provides all the necessary requirements of
the younger generation today. Every effort has been made at New Horizon College
of Engineering Campus that the main building conforms to high standards of
quality in construction. Every minute detail has been thought about, planned
and executed in this Center for Learning. The temple of Lord Ganesha at the
gate emanates an aura of spiritual blessing and learning.” before “Any activity
begins with the blessings of Lord Ganesha”.
The New Horizon College of Engineering has
spacious, airy and well-ventilated lecture halls accommodating a decent number
of students and providing enough space for one-to-one interaction with the
faculty. Teaching is done through audio-visual media so that the students can
grasp the use of advanced technology in due course of time. New Horizon College
of Engineering is maintained in conformity with the international standards. A
seminar hall built to international standards is exclusively for intellectual
activities like paper presentations, seminars, workshops, debates and
inter-collegiate competitions. Guest lecturers for the students and faculty
improvement programs etc are conducted here regularly. A well furnished
conference room with corporate hospitality functions for board meetings and
company recruitments is available. The New Horizon College of Engineering has a
huge playground to play cricket, football, volleyball and basketball, a
magnificent and gut-wrenching gymnasium, and an indoor stadium with a seating
capacity of more than 800 students. Nirvana a recreation centre is also
attached for the students to rejuvenate themselves.
New Horizon College of Engineering HOSTEL
New Horizon College of Engineering provides Separate hostels for boys and girls
providing a safe and congenial atmosphere to the students. Well furnished
rooms, solar hot water facility, attached bathroom, laundry facility, 24 hours
power back-up, Wi-Fi connection are provided for the boarders. Single room
facilities are also available. Besides choice of North and South Indian food
available for the boarders, maintenance of hygienic kitchen and quality food
are a matter of supreme concern to the management. There are resident wardens
who are well experienced and are also the senior faculty members. New Horizon
College of Engineering provides Free
consultation facility is available in the nearest super speciality hospital for
the boarders. In addition to this New Horizon College of Engineering also
provide medical insurance. Ragging is strictly prohibited and strict discipline
is maintained.

New Horizon College of Engineering houses Fully
computerized and well stocked Library, with online access to Books &
E-Journals where the thirst for knowledge is quenched. New Horizon College of
Engineering Library is a resource centre for teaching, learning & research.
Being the heart of the academic centre, it is home for all the information
services. It plays a proactive role in enabling access to information resources
of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet
the changing needs of the academic community. The major objective of New
Horizon College of Engineering library is to provide right
information/knowledge to the right users at the right time. The New Horizon
College of Engineering Library holds a hybrid collection of printed as well as
electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, audio-visuals,
CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, , course materials, past 10 previous yrs
question papers, Bound Volumes, Project Reports, case studies, conference
proceedings, training manuals, etc. Currently the New Horizon College of
Engineering library holds over 12325 volumes of the latest books., 33 print
journals, provides access to e-journals, newspapers and business magazine, and
1958 multimedia resources.
