ABOUT KNS Institute of Technology

The KNS Institute of Technology was established in 2001 & formally inaugurated on 17th October 2002 by Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Honorable President of All India Congress Committee in the presence of distinguished personalities like Sri S.M.Krishna, former Chief Minister of Karnataka (presently the Governor of Maharashtra), late Dr Raja Ramanna, renowned Scientist of world repute who was the first chairman of the governing council of KNSIT till his demise, Dr Natarajan former Chairman AICTE, New Delhi, Dr K. Balaveera Reddy Vice Chancellor of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and other reputed personalities. KNS Institute of Technology was built on a sprawling 20 acre campus in Bangalore with superior infrastructure. The vibrant campus of the KNS Institute of Technology was designed to give more learning space to KNS Institute of Technology students. The departmental Blocks are superior in architecture and construction standards. The classrooms are designed in such a way as to facilitate customized attention to each student. The laboratories of KNS Institute of Technology  are equipped with state of the art infrastructure and latest instruments pertaining to the syllabus prescribed by Visvesvaraya Technological University. Separate blocks are built for each specialized subject mainly to achieve more focus on each area of discipline.The KNS Institute of Technology has independent blocks for Computer Science and Electronics which led to the establishment of State of the art Research Institute with emphasis on Electronics and  information Technology.

KNS Institute of Technology CAMPUS

The KNS Institute of Technology  provides extensive facilities to students in various sports and games, both indoor and outdoor. Full fledged Gymnasium, National Service Schemes, It aims at arousing social consciousness of the youth with the overall objective of personality development of the students through community service. A camp of 10 day duration is conducted every year in an adopted village on specific themes. Such programs mould the students mind to serve the society.

The Spacious KNS Institute of Technology library houses a diverse collection of volumes related to all disciplines of engineering. KNS Institute of Technology library is a research center for teaching, learning and research. KNS Institute of Technology library plays a proactive role in enabling access and effective services to meet the changing needs of academic community.
