Welcome to Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, Bangalore an Engineering Institution started by Sri Sai Vidya Vikas Shikshana Samithi, which is a trust formed by an excellent team of popular and former professors of RVCE/RNSIT Bangalore. The team consists of Prof. Y. Jayasimha, Prof. R.C. Shanmukha Swamy and Prof. A.M. Padma Reddy under the leadership of Prof. M.R. Holla, former Principal of RVCE & Director of RNSIT, who are renowned personalities in Technical Education. This team is supported by Mr. R Srinivas Raju, a Civil Engineering graduate and an Alumni of RVCE Bangalore. Mr. Srinivas Raju is committed and dedicated to the cause of promoting education. This Visionary group is committed to develop Sai Vidya Institute of Technology as a paradigm. The future of Sai Vidya Institute of Technology  in Engineering Education is bright as the above professors are heading the department and extending their services to develop the Institution. These efforts are adequately backed by a team of qualified, skilled and dedicated teaching and non teaching staff. Sai Vidya Institute of Technology is the first Engineering College to be promoted by a team of eminent and popular professors in the field of technical education with a unique vision of imparting high quality education - the need of the hour. Sai Vidya Institute of Technology LIBRARY

Sai Vidya Institute of Technology Engineering College established in the year 2008 encourages every student to use the library that has been built up separately with an area of 700 Sq mts. The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology library is managed by qualified and experienced librarian Mr. Harish H T, M.L I Sc, M.Phil,(Ph.d) is supported by another four staff members. At present the library has a stock of 10,706 volumes of books .The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology library also subscribed to over 85 journals, of which 53 National journals and 32 International Journals. E journals are also made available to the students with J-GATE subscription which provides access to more than 1500 full text journals & 4500 bibliographic text. The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology library follows the open access system, encouraging the user to browse freely in the stock area. The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology library is provided with automation using Easy-lib software. The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology  library houses all standard textbooks as per the syllabus of VTU and other relevant books of international standard on each topic for further reading of the student. The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology  follows a policy of buying multiple copies of many of these books to make them available to a large number of students.

Sai Vidya Institute of Technology HOSTEL

Sai Vidya Institute of Technology provides the separate hostel blocks for the boys and girls attached with mess facility on dividing basis. Late night entry, leaving hostel without permission are not allowed. Smoking and drinking in Sai Vidya Institute of Technology hostel premises is totally prohibited. Sai Vidya Institute of Technology Students are not permitted to use any electrical appliances other than what are provided in the rooms except computers for which additional fee of Rs.100/- per month is charged.  Sai Vidya Institute of Technology Students residing in hostels are expected to carry identity cards with them always. Entry of unauthorized persons is totally prohibited. Sai Vidya Institute of Technology Hostel mess serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and boarders have to register their choice of food at the beginning of the semester. The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology has a Canteen inside the Sai Vidya Institute of Technology campus in which both South Indian and North Indian dishes are available at reasonable rates. The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology canteen remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavours are served on different days according to different seasons. A committee consisting of staff, students and trustees oversee the functioning of the canteen and its upkeep.
