SJB institute of technology  was Established in 1974, Sri adichunchanagiri shikshana trust is Guided by the commitment to excellence, under the Blessings of His Holiness jagadguru Padmabhushana Dr. Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji. Importance is given to impart three components of education  intellectual, spiritual & physical needs of SJB institute of technology  students. With this SJB institute of technology  vision, the trust has started 500 educational units across the country, benefiting more than 1,00,000 students every year. SJB institute of technology HOSTEL

SJB institute of technology  provides Good hostel facilities, both for SJBIT boys and SJBIT girls, for limited number of SJBIT students are available. First come first served is the basis of room allotment. Good reading room, recreation center etc. is the attraction. The SJBIT  hostel mess is run on cost sharing basis. The SJBIT Hostels are provided with solar heater and modern Cooking accessories. Senior faculty members are made as Wardens to look after the day-to-day working of the SJBIT Hostel and the discipline of boarders. They will work under the general guidelines of the Director/Principal, who has the discretion to refuse admission to any student, if they are not satisfied with the conduct and progress of the particular student.

Resources available at SJBIT Library, SJBIT Library to date has a total collection of 15,200 volumes of books with about 2,920 titles. 550 CDs/ DVD's/ Floppies provided with books as learning materials and 240 Journals/Magazines CDs / DVDs. 30 Nos. of Dictionaries, Handbooks, Encyclopedias. 50 Project Reports. 130 Bound Volumes of Journals. The SJBIT  library at present is subscribing to 60+ National and International Technical Journals & Magazines including IEEE & ACM Journals. 10 general Magazines & 11 Newspapers.
