Yellamma DasappaInstitute of Technology currently
offers six under-graduate programs as following- B.E - Civil Engineering, B.E -
Computer Science Engineering, B.E - Electronics & Communication
Engineering, B.E - Electrical & Electronics Engineering, B.E - Mechanical
Engineering, B.Tech - Information Technology, Along With Master Of Engineering,
Master Of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) course is of 4 year of Duration and the
admissions are based on the merit in a State level entrance exam held by govt.
of Tamil Nadu.
Yellamma DasappaInstitute of Technology campus consists of
various amnesties with modern facilities. The
Yellamma DasappaInstitute of
Technology has received the award of being an ISO 9001:2008 institution. The Yellamma
Dasappa Institute of Technology has facilities like separate hostels for boys
students and girls students, along with fine facilitate labs for each
department, a central library that houses blocks for each department related
books. In addition to these facilities, the college also provides facilities like
a Health center with an on-call doctor, Transport facility for day-scholar
students. The

extracurricular activities, the

has its own NSS unit of students that works for social programs and events, and
also a red cross society. The

skills. The canteen at
Yellamma DasappaInstitute of Technology (YDIT) was
recently closed down, apparently due to some 'Vastushastra' problem.
