RR Institute of Technology  was established in 2008 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, duly recognized by Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University Belgaum. The approval reference of various governing bodies are given below, year wise. RR Institute of Technology  campus Spread over 25 acres of built up space, the classrooms, libraries, labs, seminar hall and learning center of RR Institutions have been designed with meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful design and use of space, making it a truly world-class backdrop against which students pursue higher studies.

The first batch of students left in June 2012 only. Though the RR Institute of Technology has e-mail address and Mobile numbers of all the outgoing students, the alumini association is yet to be formally inaugurated. By this year end, before the next batch goes out , the RR Institute of Technology will have a full fledge Alumini Association . The placement cell in RR Institute of Technology has been operational since 2010, Headed by Mr. Rajesh.S.L  Assistant Professor in Information science. Placement cell of the RR Institute of Technology  is very active in  the field through continuous interaction with reputed companies across industry sectors in order to identify their requirements. RR Institute of Technology  Students who are ready for placement are carefully profiled and prepared for attending interviews in these companies.

RR Institute of Technology Library is the place of knowledge, open for academicians and students. The RR Institute of Technology library has more than 12500 volumes of book on variety of subjects. Utmost care is taken in developing resources for each department. RR Institute of Technology library subscribes to more than 43 Indian & international journals and many national periodical and has a good collection of latest CDs on various fields. The house keeping operations of the RR Institute of Technology library is fully automated with ICMS (Integrated College Management System, Version(1.2.8) Library Automation software. The library of RR Institute of Technology is one of the finest in the industry. The RR Institute of Technology library is very spacious, occupying 2 Floors with a seating capacity of 120 students. RR Institute of Technology has a large collection of books, journals and periodicals.
